Banana is an edible fruit. It is variable in size, color and firmness. Banana contains soft flesh rich in starch covered with a rind which may be green, yellow, red, purple, or brown. It is grown mostly in 107 countries. Bananas are naturally slightly radioactive. The banana plant grows 10 to 26 feet from ground.  The cluster of fruits contain anywhere from 50 to 150 bananas with individual fruits grouped in bunches, known as hands, containing 10 to 25 bananas. Bananas are a smart move if you suffer from elimination problems. Bananas and plantains are today grown in every humid tropical region and constitute the 4th largest fruit crop of the world.
